Rubber Process Oil is defined as a combination of different processing products such as paraffinic, naphthenic, and aromatic compounds that can be of any molecular weight. It commonly comes with kinematic viscosity at 100 °C of from 25 to 50 CST and which contains less than 3%. It is also high aromatic content, environmental protection, non-toxic, non-carcinogenic characteristics, that can be used as a substitute for existing aromatic oil. The viscosities and the grades among other properties of the rubber process oils are also important as these should lie between specific values at the specific temperatures at which the oil is being used in order to yield the full capabilities of the oil. The properties such as the kinematic viscosity, which defines the capacity of the fluid to resists the internal forces and the gravitational forces, and the flashpoint, which defines the lowest temperature at which the liquid gives of the vapor. That means that the lower the flash point is, the liquid is ignited more easily.

Rubber Process Oil is used mainly in the rubber industry. It is special oils that are used in a wide variety of chemical and technical industries either as raw material component or as an aid to processing. Both synthetic and natural version of Rubber process oil is mainly used to produce products from rubber bands to a toy to the tires for various vehicles such as cars and aircraft. Rubber Process Oils are used during the mixing of rubber compounds as well. There is also a demand for RPO from various industries such as automotive, manufacturing, construction, electronics and electrical industries. For instance in the automotive industry, it used in the production of tires. It can be made into special designed tires in a variety of vehicles such as military and defense vehicles, large trucks, carrier vehicles, small trucks, passenger cars, commercial vehicles among others. The other performance characteristics in rubber industry is to improve processing ability of rubber and rubber compounds as process aids and to increase the bulk of rubber (Oil extender rubbers) in order to low cost. Rubber Process Oil is commonly packed in new and second hand drum. WE Co. is also able to pack it in bulk shipments and flexi tanks.
